Guided
Writing Plus is a three-level series designed for upper-elementary to
lower-intermediate level English learners. The series provides students with
exercises and activities centered on modeled writing that allow them to develop
their writing and creative thinking skills. Practical and useful writing types,
such as emails, letters, movie and book reviews, creative writing, and more are
used to appeal to students’ interests. Each unit is centered around an
interesting theme and uses model writings, prompts, and graphic organizers to
help students organize and structure their writings. Guided Writing Plus has
been designed to strengthen students’ practical writing skills through the
study of realistic and useful writing techniques while practicing all four
language skills (reading, listening, speaking, and writing).
